Our Favourite Spring / Summer looks!

Spring is in full swing, Summer at our doorstep, and it's as though all of Australia is coming out from under a giant sleepy (covid induced) spell! We're heading out, we're dressing up and we need all the help we can get when it comes to outfit planning.  Lucky for us in Australia, we get to watch and admire our favourite fashion brands on the other side of the globe experience Spring and Summer before we do, so we get a cheeky look into the upcoming trends!

Athleisure 2.0

We are all familiar with the term, but this new version sees us combining sportswear with read-to-wear for a chic and comfortable look. Think bike shorts, tee and an oversized blazer, or a simple dress & sneakers combo a la Rozalia Russian!

Relaxed Tailoring

The traditional masculine style has been reinvented with a feminine touch. While a chic pant and blazer combo was never out of style, the relaxed approach to the cult classic has increased our options! Swapping fitted silhouettes for carefree and baggy throw-on styles like the one piece featured on Laura Dundovic below is a Summer essential.

Tonal Prints

Say goodbye to loud, statement colours and animal prints because everyone has turned tonal! Tonal dressing was always a safe bet, but with Summer on the way, the old favourite transitions to a more playful look. Easy to accessorise and complementing almost every wearer, this is one trend we're excited to get behind. We love Rose Bornay's holiday tonal vibes below!

Statement Sleeves

By no means a new trend, but one that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. This season, it’s all about statement sleeves. From bell-shaped and extra-long to balloon and cold-shoulder, attention grabbing sleeves are stealing all the spotlight and we are loving them paired with casual pieces. Prudence Kate shows us how to accessorise and rock a statement sleeve in style.
