You may recognise her by her handle @e.s.j.a.y, Sarah is the creative eye behind one of the most beautiful neutral styled grids. A minimalist at heart she has cultivated a distinct aesthetic blending pared back basics with a hint of the classics. As if this doesn't keep her busy enough, her daytime role sees her styling up a storm creating lust worthy campaigns for Sabo Skirt.

Today we chatted with this BIANKO muse about her core styling philosophy and the women she is most influenced by. 

What 3 words best describe your style?

Neutral, Layered, Luxe.

Do you wear Gold, Rose Gold or Silver? (or all of the above)

Gold, always.

Who are the two women whose style has influenced you the most and why?

Christine Centenera & Maja Wyh- both original fashion icons. Christine is one of the few Australians whose style doesn’t conform to the usual Australian standard, she is undeniably herself.
Maja is effortless, her style focuses on luxury fabrics and layering, the combination is edgy and luxurious.

What is your go-to jewellery combo for everyday?

Statement rings, layered chain necklaces and basic hoops.

How do you elevate your jewellery look for special occasions?

For special occasions I believe less is more, I focus more on statement earrings or wear my refined heirloom pieces.

The Bianko philosophy is all about accessible luxury and elevated style, what is your best advice for a woman to look (and feel) her best no matter her wardrobe budget?

Invest in staple pieces that can be dressed up or down. Choose fabrics that last and pieces that’s cuts are timeless.

Do you have any heirloom jewels or pieces that you have had in your collection forever? What is their story?

I have a lot of my mums and grandmas rings, no specific stories but these delicate pieces are the most treasured in my collection.

What was the best piece of advice you ever received from another woman?

Love yourself first.

Lastly, what are the three things every woman needs in her wardrobe and the one jewellery piece you can’t live without?

An oversized blazer, a strappy pair of heels and a statement handbag. Every look can be elevated with these. When it comes to jewels, Rings - Rings are my favourite adornment as I can appreciate them the most as they are in front of me.
