How To Make Loungewear Look Chic

Maybe you love it, maybe you hate it, but it's time to get used to it because it's here to stay! If we can all agree on one thing, it's that loungewear really benefited from the COVID-19 pandemic. It's having a major moment right now, and we just love seeing how our famous favourites are embracing the comfy styles and accessorizing to make them their own, so we've put together a few tips to keep you looking a little more chic, and a little less sac de potato, while sporting your matching tracksuits!

Accessorize

When it doubt, add bling! Accessories really do make all the difference, so play it up with stylish adornments. Layer necklaces on top, let some cute earrings peep through, or let some statement rings do the talking! We are loving Dominique's look with her Birthflower Necklace above!

Keep the shoe game strong

Avoid looking too comfortable in this area. Shoes that look too casual will leave you with the Steve Jobs look! Stay away from uggs and running shoes, the key to making loungewear look chic is in the shoes. Try a statement shoe, or even a cheeky little ankle bling a la Tessa-Jay!

Hair and Make-Up

We forget how a little polish up of the face and mane can scrub up a whole look!  Now we're not saying go full glam, more like a soft beachy wave and glow, or a polished pony and bright lip! We think Pia Loyola nailed the vibe above!

Add structure

A pair of sweats look seriously chic when paired with an oversize coat or blazer. It makes a midnight snack-run look totally Carrie Bradshaw-esque. Opt for neutral hues to keep the look sophisticated and streamlined. We love Rozalia Russian's approach!

We'd love to see how you style your lounge wear, or better yet how you incorporate your BIANKO jewels into your look! Don't forget to tag us in your posts!
